Rita Ora Hospitalised

Hours before she was set to take the stage, Rita Ora revealed she was cancelling a live festival performance after she "spent the night in hospital."

She was expected to perform at a festival in Hungary but was told by medical professionals that she needed time to recover from an illness that was not revealed.

On Instagram she posted, "Please forgive this unexpected turn of events but sadly I will not be able to perform at Campus Fesztival tonight."

“Having spent the night in hospital in Budapest, I must rest thoroughly and follow doctors’ orders."

“I am so sorry to my fans who are going to be there today and I’m truly thankful for your understanding.”

In August, she is expected to perform at the Lovestream Festival in Slovakia, and has recently released her third studio album, You & I.

This is a follow-up to her album Phoenix in 2018 and her debut album Ora from 2012.

Additionally, she has duties as a judge on The Masked Singer and is a coach on The Voice Australia.

The singer began dating Taika Waititi in 2021 and married him the following year.

Rita has also recently appeared in Descendants: The Rise Of Red, where she portrays the Queen of Hearts, Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, and in the Fifty Shades series.
