'Mean Girls' worlds gathered together for a special moment on 'Saturday Night Live' when Rachel McAdams, who originally portrayed Regina George in 2004, made a surprise appearance to support Reneé Rapp, who was performing, and plays Regina in the 2024 musical adaptation.
Rachel started by introducing Reneé's second and final song 'Not My Fault,' with Megan Thee Stallion, from the soundtrack of the film.
A photo was later shared of the three star reenacting the iconic triple Spider-Man meme. It was also the first photo of Rachel and Reneé together.
Megan captioned the post, "Cause huhhh, all the Reginas in one room #snl."
Reneé explained earlier this month, that she wanted to meet and hang out with Rachel "so bad. I'm so obsessed with her. She's like, one of my favorite actors, ever. She's actually so talented, it's insane."
Rachel showed off her acting talents later on for SNL, appearing in a skit as a woman named Natalie, who attends an acting class, and is told she faces challenges to advance in her career, as she "looks strikingly like Rachel McAdams."
"I keep hearing that, which is kind of annoying because I'm just not really a fan. I think there's room in Hollywood for Rachel McAdams and Natalie Partman."
Jacob Elordi, the episode host, then played a satirical version of himself, and arrived to give the class acting career advice.
He then gets starstruck by Rachel's character, who he mistakes for the real actress.
'Mean Girls' the musical film was released earlier this month.
