YG Responds To Saweetie Separation Rumours

YG has opened up about the rumours circulating that allege he and Saweetie are separating. 

He posted an old video of the two during Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour, and said, "The only block I'm tryna spin." 

A tweet from back in September indicated Saweetie was seen at one of Beyoncé’s concerts. 

The video posted by YG came hours after he entered the comments of ex Kehlani's post. He posted the OK hand emoji under a photo of the two of them at the gym. 

The two dated from late 2019 to early 2020, and released a Valentine's Day single together, 'Konclusions.' 

Days later, Kehlani released a track that alleged YG had cheated.

TMZ then picked up a claim suggesting YG and Saweetie had split. It was reported the two think they work better as friends.

The two started sparking dating rumours last May, when they vacationed together in Mexico. This wasn't the first time they had been seen together. 

After Saweetie attended YG's birthday party in March, they were allegedly seen cuddling at Coachella in April, and were also seen at a restaurant. 

Last July, they collaborated on Saweetie’s 'Birthday' song, days after the 'Str8 to the Klub' tour was announced. This was later cancelled.

Saweetie was previously connected with Quavo for a minimum of a couple of years. In March 2021, she revealed she was "single." 

“I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band-aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women.” 

YG dated Kehlani for a few months, and separated when Kehlani accused him of cheating.
