Selena Gomez Quits Social Media Again

Selena Gomez has once again taken a step back from social media, after she was mixed up in some controversary at the 2024 Golden Globes.

She revealed the news on Instagram via a video of little kids climbing on herself and boyfriend Benny Blanco. 

“I’m off social for a while. I’m focusing on what really matters”

This isn't the first time the singer has left social media.

In late October she announced a break, and again in early November, after she was blasted for her light stance on the Israel-Palestine war. 

She was spotted returning just days later. 

The reasoning behind this time is because she has been part of controversary since she was seen gossiping with Taylor Swift and Keleigh Sperry at the Golden Globes.

A video surfaces of the group chatting, and it sounded like Keleigh said, "with Timothée?”

Fans and lip readers jumped to the theory that Kylie Jenner had refused to let them take a photo together. 

Timothée proceeded to shut the speculation down, and afterwards, Selena took to Instagram to deny the claims. 

She revealed she "told Taylor about two of my friends who hooked up.”
