Billy Joel Announces 2024 Tour Dates

The 'Piano Man' himself, Billy Joel, has announced he will be playing a handful of stadium shows this year, and will be joined by co-headlining guests Stevie Nicks, and Sting for select dates. 

On Instagram and his official website, he revealed he will play four more shows, along with the final dates to his long-running residency at Madison Square Garden in New York City. 

The new dates include a stop in Seattle (May 24th), two stops in Chicago and Denver, and a final date in St. Louis, Missouri on September 27th. 

Seattle and Denver will be played solo, and they will be his first time playing in the cities in eight and five years, respectively. 

Stevie Nicks will appear alongside Billy in Chicago, and Sting will appear onstage in St. Louis. 

Last year, he announced he would play a show with Sting in Tampa, Florida on February 24th, which will mark his tour kick off. He will also appear alongside the superstar in San Diego, California on April 13th. 

Billy has also revealed Stevie Nicks would play a show with in Arlington, Texas on March 9th. 

Before the tour, the star is set to play two classic MSG concerts and a show in Tokyo, followed by his residency, and one UK date will be interspersed. 

After he annouced he would be ending his MSG residency after 10 years, he opened up about his decision. 

“After 10 years, we've done it. I mean, I didn't realize it would last 10 years."

"And I don't know how many shows it is, I'm sure somebody's keeping track of it somewhere, but I'm amazed that we went this far, and I'm honored.” 

Tickets for the new dates start with a presale exclusive to Citi cardholders, from January 8th to January 11th. 

General tickets will become available on January 12th.
