Shannon Noll Drags Dying Woman From Car Crash

Shannon Noll has attempted to save the life of a young woman, dragging her from a burning car after he passed a fiery crash returning home in northern NSW. 

He was on his way back to his family property, encountered a sedan which had collided with a tree and caught fire. 

The car's driver was 18 year old Kobi Roberts-Walker, travelling with 18 year old girlfriend Jaselle Melrose. They were less than 10KM from their home. 

Shannon pulled Jaselle from the car and performed CPR, according to sources. 

Emergency services arrived around 8:50PM, however Jaselle was unable to be saved. Kobi also passed away at the scene. 

Speaking about the accident, Shannon said, “Last night was such a tragedy. I just reacted and did what I could to assist the young woman at the scene. Our prayers and condolences go out to their families at this terribly sad time.”

A volunteer rescue worker at the scene said Shannon “heroically” leapt into action, attempting to pull the girl from the fire.

“He’s pretty much got her away from the car as much as he could and heroically done what he could before the police and that arrived."

It's believed Kobi recently moved to Ellangowan to live with Jaselle and her family. 

Shannon and his family moved to a farm in Casino last year. 

NSW Police released a statement which read, "officers attached to Richmond Police District have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash."

A report will be prepared for the coroner, and anyone with any information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
