Rita Ora Rocks A Spiked Back At The 2023 British Fashion Awards

Rita Ora dressed to impress at the 2023 British Fashion Awards, wearing a cutting-edge look with prosthetic spikes along the the spine of her back.

For the event she slipped into a simple black Primark gown, with body-clinging material, and a risqué backless design.

She also chose to add silver chrome spikes on her back, resembling the plates on a dinosaur's spine.

"It's going to take about two to three hours to put on. We went simple with the dress because the spine is such a big part of the look."

She's always been one to go for the shock factor, like last year, when she wore facial prosthetics.

She placed fish-like scales (in the same shade as her skin tone) around the outer area of her eyes, donning blood-red lips blotted out to create an ombré effect.

The futuristic adornments rivaled her daring ensemble, the fiery red Nensi Dojaka design, featuring a ruched bikini top, and two silver heart-shaped embellishments attached to the top.

She accessorised with red G-string thong, also with heart-shaped hardware and matching heels.

The hearts were a nod to her love life, as she married Taika Waititi four months earlier.
