Olly Murs Expecting First Child

Olly Murs and partner Amelia Tank have announced they are expecting their first child together.  

They posted a picture showing Olly gaping in amazement as he held up a baby scan, and pointing to his wife's stomach. 

Amelia beamed at Olly, posing with her hands on her hips, jeans rolled down to reveal the growing bump.

"Baby Murs due 2024."

His friends and fans rushed to congratulate the couple on the happy news. 

Emma Willis commented, "Oh Olly!!! I’m so so happy for you both. Sending you all lots of love [heart emojis]." 

Michelle Keegan wrote: "Awwww amazing news congratulations to you."

Davina McCall added, "Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy," followed by a string of red hearts. 

Others gushed at the news. 

"Aww Congratulations, gorgeous news."

"Ah the excitement is real."

Olly and Amelia wed in Essex at Osea Island in the Blackwater Estuary. They had a three day long celebration, which started on July 14th. 

The two brought together their closest friends and family for a welcome barbecue, which was followed by a ceremony the following day, and finished with a wedding festival complete with surprise performers. 

"I was on the brink of crying at any moment. When my nephews walked down the aisle, I was gone, then when Amelia came in – oh my God! My mum said she hasn’t seen me cry like that since I was four years old!" 

Amelia was wearing a wedding dress by Australian bridal house Pallas Couture, which was kept secret from Olly by organising long distance fittings via FaceTime. 

It featured a corset bodice, thin straps, and detachable lace sleeves. It was completed with head-to-toe floral appliqués.

"She looked out of this world.”

She added a floor-length veil embroidered with the words "Olly and Amelia" and their wedding date.

Olly, on the other hand, wore a Joshua Kane suit with a cropped jacket, high waisted trousers, and a white cravat. He described the looks as "subtle, but slick, cool and very me." 

The ceremony included Amelia's 91-year-old grandfather reading Shakespeare's Sonnet 18, "Shall I compare thee to a summer's day?"

They travelled to their reception in a classic silver Porsche with customised “Mr and Mrs Murs” and “Just Married” plates. 

Guests were seated inside a conservatory decorated with chandeliers and white flowers.
