Matthew Perry Laid to Rest

'Friends' superstar Matthew Perry has been laid to rest during a private funeral attended by close family and friends. 

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, and David Schwimmer were also in attendance. 

It was reported the memorial took place at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in LA, near the Warner Bros. Studios lot where 'Friends' was filmed.

The funeral was held almost a week following his death from an apparent drowning, where he was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his LA home. He was later declared dead at the scene after a "rapid medical assessment."

His cause of death was deferred following a pending toxicology report. Results from an initial autopsy were inconclusive. 

"We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family."

"There is so much to say, but right now we're going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."

His costars added they "will say more, as and when we are able."

"For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty's family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."
