Jamie Foxx Sued For Alleged Sexual Assault

Jamie Foxx has been accused of sexually assaulting a woman at a New York City restaurant in 2015.

Documents state an unnamed woman is suing Jamie and Catch NYC & Roof restaurant for compensatory and punitive damages.

She claims she had to undergo medical treatment, suffering pain and emotional distress as a result of "sexual assault, abuse, assault and battery.”

In the lawsuit, she claims Jamie started touching her inappropriately after she asked him to take a photo with her.

Jamie, who she says was sitting a table away, allegedly agreed to the photo before telling her she had a "supermodel body" and smelled "so good."

Allegedly, while posing for the photo, he began touching her by putting both hands on her waist and moving them under her shirt to rub her breasts.

She claims several people saw the incident and turned the other way, despite her trying to pull away.

Jamie then allegedly slid his hands into her pants, and put his fingers on and inside her vagina and anus.

She claims he allegedly stopped once her friend came back to check on her and saw what was happening.

The lawsuit has been filed under the New York’s Adult Survivors Act.

Enacted last year, it provided a one-year window for sexual assault plaintiffs to file civil claims, regardless of the statute of limitations. This window closed on Friday, November 24th.

A spokesperson for Jamie has said, "The alleged incident never happened. In 2020, this individual filed a nearly identical lawsuit in Brooklyn. That case was dismissed shortly thereafter."

"The claims are no more viable today than they were then. We are confident they will be dismissed again. And once they are, Mr. Foxx intends to pursue a claim for malicious prosecution against this person and her attorneys for re-filing this frivolous action.”
