Coldplay Giving Away Free Tickets To 2024 Tour

Coldplay has announced a special offer for fans planning on attending their recently announced Aussie stadium tour next year. That offer is free tickets. 

After performing two shows in Perth over the weekend, the band announced a string of Aussie dates for 2024. 

They revealed they wanted to make amends with fans who had tried to travel to WA from interstate, but were affected by flight cancellations.

“We were really sorry to hear about the fans who didn’t make it to this weekend’s Perth shows because of two cancelled flights from Adelaide and Brisbane."

“If you were booked to travel on VA721 on Wednesday evening or VA474 on Thursday evening and had a ticket / tickets for the Perth show, the band would like to offer you a free ticket / tickets for the 2024 Australian dates."

“Anyone affected should email info@livenation.com.au before 5pm AEDT on 28th November for info on how to claim their ticket(s).”

Fans praised the band for thinking of those who were unable to make it.

“You guys are really kind, I love Coldplay."

“Nothing says welcome to Australia like a flight cancellation. Good on you for giving these people free tickets."

The first of the two shows was called "a masterclass in showmanship from both Martin and his bandmates … the rest of Australia can only pray that they decide to return soon because their concert is not one to be missed.”

The band's 'Music of the Spheres' tour will be back in Australia next year, with shows on October 30th and 31st in Melbourne, before heading to Sydney for November 6th and 7th.

In the announcement, fans were invited to register at Coldplay’s official website for access to the ticket presale.

The ticket presale will begin 10am AEDT on Wednesday, November 29th, with general tickets going on sale on Friday, December 1st.
