A Complete Guide To Hallmark's 2023 Films

Hallmark has come out strong with it's upcoming release schedule. In January this year alone, it released six new films. 

The January releases included three new installments of the 'Wedding Veil' trilogy, which stars Lacey Chabert, Autumn Reeser, and Alison Sweeney. 

It also released an all-new Hallmark Movies & Mysteries franchise, 'Family History Mysteries: Buried Past.'

Alison Sweeney said, "I hope we do get the chance to reunite. I would love that. I honestly loved those movies so much, especially because of the opportunity to work with Lacey and Autumn.”

The next month, the channel kicked off its annual 'Loveuary' programming, which was full of new stories and rom-coms celebrating Valentine's Day.

Dan Jeannotte, who stars in 'Sweeter Than Chocolate,' said “I’ve been pretty lucky with Hallmark. [I’ve had] great movies with great people."

January

‘The Dog Lover’s Guide to Dating’

Premiere Date: Sunday, January 1st, starring Rebecca Dalton and Corey Sevier.

Logline: “Simon (Sevier) believes Chloe (Eliza King) is the girl of his dreams, but can’t seem to win over her beloved pup. He enlists dog trainer Alex (Dalton) and soon finds himself wondering where his real connection might be.”

‘The Wedding Veil Expectations’

Premiere Date: Saturday, January 7th, starring Lacey Chabert, Kevin McGarry, Autumn Reeser and Alison Sweeney.

Premiere Date: Saturday, January 28th, starring Ashley Newbrough and Stephen Huszar.

Logline: “Sparks fly when Hannah (Newbrough), an expert in avalanche forecasting, brings her new technology to Glacier National Park and faces pushback from the director of Mountain Rescue (Huszar), who relies more on intuition and common sense. ‘Love in the Maldives’

Premiere Date: Saturday, April 1st, starring Jocelyn Hudon and Jake Manley.

Logline: "Travel columnist Rae Parker (Hudon) is sent to the Maldives by her editor to write an article about it’s romantic appeal and adventurous experiences. “Rae realizes she needs some guidance and support to undertake some of the challenges outside of her comfort zone. ‘The Professional Bridesmaid’

Premiere Date: Saturday, April 8th, starring Hunter King and Chandler Massey.
