Will Smith Releases "Official Statement" Following Jada Pinkett Smith Drama

Will Smith is opening up around the drama that followed Jada Pinkett Smith's tell-all.

On the release date of her memoir 'Worthy,' which detailed how she and Will quietly separated "in every way except legally" in 2016, Jada had fun with the interest surrounding their unconventional relationship.

In a video shared on October 17th, Will wrote, "OFFICIAL STATEMENT."

"Here's the thing. My opinion is..."

Before finishing sentences, he was interrupted with an itchy nose. As he sneezed, the camera zoomed out to should several landscapes around the globe.

The ruse turned heads, and King Bach was one commenting "Bless you," alongside a laughing emoji.

"I'm going to use this next time somebody asks me about politics," beatboxer Adym Evans said.

Film producer Brad Haugen commented, "Needed you to weigh in with this opinion. It's on point!"

Jokes aside, Will remains open about his thoughts on Jada's book, which also addressed private struggles with depression, as well as that infamous Oscars slap.

"When you've been with someone for more than half of your life a sort of emotional blindness sets in. You can all too easily lose your sensitivity to their hidden nuances and subtle beauties."

In a separate note to Jada, he said, "I applaud and honor you."

"If I had read this book 30 years ago, I definitely would have hugged you more. I'll start now. Welcome to the author's club. I love you endlessly. Now go get some Merlot and take a rest."
