Ken Jeong To Launch Daytime Talk Show

Ken Jeong is in talks to develop his own syndicated daytime talk show with Lionsgate's Debmar-Mercury. It's expected to premiere in 2024. 

Ken is also set to executive produce the show with Jim Biederman, who has been part of various talk and sketch comedy shows including 'Kids in the Hall' and 'The Andy Dick Show.'

Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Mort Marcus and Ira Bernstein, and said Ken has "what it takes to succeed" in the crowded, competitve talk show space.

Additionally, he is known for being a judge on 'The Masked Singer USA,' 'Crazy Rich Asians,' 'Community,' 'Dr. Ken,' and 'The Hangover' trilogy.

He also recently starred in season 2 of 'The Afterparty' on Apple TV+ and will appear in 'My Spy: The Eternal City' on Amazon.

Prior to starting his entertainment career, he worked as a practicing physician, and has opened up about his career change after he was honoured with a star on The Hollywood Walk of Fame.

“I just quit being a physician back in 2006-2007 in the hopes of being a character actor and I thought it was behind me to be a known entity. I just love acting, I love comedy. I just wanted to do that full-time. I wanted to see if I could just do that as a living."
