Joe Jonas & Sophie Turner Release Joint Custody Statement

Joe Jonas has revealed he and estranged wife Sophie Turner have come to a temporary custody agreement of their daughters. 

“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK. We look forward to being great coparents.”

It was confirmed the two believe an "amicable resolution on all issues between them is forthcoming.” 

Court documents reveal they agreed to swap custody of Willa (3) and Delphine (14 months) through to January 7th, 2024.

Sophie will keep the girls until October 21st, to which she travel with them throughout the US and UK as she pleases. Joe will then take them until November 2nd. 

When it comes to holidays, Joe will have the children for Thanksgiving, and Sophie will have them for Christmas.

Joe filed for divorce in September after four years of marriage. Soon after, Sophie sued Joe claiming he prevented her from taking her children to England.

A representative for Joe said at the time it was an "unfortunate legal disagreement about a marriage that is sadly ending.” According to the spokesperson, Joe hoped Sophie would “reconsider her harsh legal position and move forward in a more constructive and private manner.”

Days later, it was confirmed they signed a temporary consent agreement stating they wouldn't remove the girls from New York for now.

“The most important thing for both Joe and Sophie is the well-being and happiness of their children, so that’s what they’re putting all their effort into. At the end of the day, they both want some resolution.”

The two started dating in 2016, and announced their engagement in 2017. They were married secretly in Las Vegas in May 2019, and held a second wedding in France a month later. They welcomed Willa in July 2020, and Delphine in July 2022.
