Iron Maiden Announces 2024 Australian Tour
Iron Maiden has revealed they will be embarking on an Australian tour in 2024.
The announcement was teased last week on social media, with the band recreating a video originally made when they announced their 2020 tour.
The band's 'Future Past' tour will head to venues around Australia next year. Shows will be played in Perth, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Sydney.
Joining them for all dates will be Killswitch Engage.
This will be the band's first tour in Australia in 2016, when they arrived with their 'Book Of Souls' tour.
In 2020, they had scheduled dates for their 'Legacy Of The Beast' tour, also with Killswitch Engage, however, plans were haltered due to the COVID pandemic.
The band's manager Rob Smallwood released a statement that read, "All our best-laid plans to bring the Legacy Of The Beast Tour to Australia were derailed by the shut-down of the live music industry during COVID but we assured everyone at the time that we would come back to Australia and, as our fans know, we always keep to our promises."
“So, as you would imagine, we’re very much looking forward to bringing this amazing new show to the Southern hemisphere and giving our loyal Australian fans the best Maiden show we can. You can be assured it’s worth the wait.”
Iron Maiden's 17th studio album, 'Senjutsu' was released in September 2021, which featured singles 'Statego' and 'The Writing On The Wall.'
