Liam Payne Rushed To Hospital

Liam Payne from One Direction has been rushed to hospital with agonising kidney pain, after falling ill on a Lake Como trip with his girlfriend. 

Being a recurring problem, doctors investigated leading to him cancelling a tour last month.

He was celebrating his first anniversary with his girlfriend when he fell ill, and was rushed to emergency in an ambulance before he was checking into a ward for emergency treatment. He is expected to stay for several days.

This comes just weeks after he told fans he was in hospital with a serious kidney infection, leading him to cancel his first solo tour.

“Liam is in a bad way but he’s in the best place he can be and finally doctors will be able to get to the bottom of what is going on."

“Naturally he is gutted that his and Kate’s trip to Lake Como has been ruined but at least she was there to help him when he fell ill."

“Doctors have warned him not to expect to be signed off to go home for at least another six days."

“They want to do every test possible to understand the issue fully but they now suspect that there has been an underlying issue for a while that has been getting worse.”

He also revealed earlier this year that he was almost six months sober after he drunk heavily in One Direction. He spent most of the year working on his second album.

Last month, he was forced to postpone a South American tour days before he was set to take off.

“Over the past week I’ve been in hospital with a serious kidney infection, it’s something I wouldn’t wish on anyone, and doctors’ orders are that I now need to rest and recover. I was beyond excited to come play for you guys. To all of you who have bought tickets: I’m so sorry.”

He also revealed he spent 100 days in a rehab facility, and how he would often empty mini bars on tours with One Direction.

He claimed to now have "more of a grip on life."

“I just needed to take a little bit of time out for myself actually because I kind of became somebody who I didn’t really recognise anymore.”

He revealed the scariest part was turning his phone back on after 100 days.
