Ryan Gosling Surprises Greta Gerwig With Birthday Barbie/Ken Flash Mob

Ryan Gosling has surprised Greta Gerwig for her birthday, sending her a Barbie and Ken flash mob as a gift for her 40th.

A video was shared of the moment she was surprised.

“As Kens know…Sometimes the only way to express your feelings is through song & dance!”

“Ken Ryan sent these special Barbies and Kens to start Greta’s birthday with all the feelings!! @bookaflashmob @heymarkavery."

Greta appeared shocked in the video, as the flash mob piled into what seemed like her Pilates class.

“Oh my god,” she was heard saying over and over again as she laughed. 

The flash mob performed an energetic routine to 'I'm Just Ken' and Dua Lipa's 'Dance the Night Away.'

“Happy Birthday Greta!” they shouted at the end.

Greta clapped and got up to hug mob members, appearing in happy tears.

“That was so beautiful. Who are you?”

“Guess who planned this?” said a voice from behind the camera.

“I have no idea!” Greta replied.

“Think of a bagpiper," which refers to when Ryan sent over a man playing the bagpipes to a sleepover Greta organised for the Barbie cast.

“Oh my God!”

This flash mob comes as Ryan marked his first chart entry on the Billboard Hot 100 list with his song 'I'm Just Ken,' debuting at #87. The 'Barbie' soundtrack debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 albums chart list.

Ryan also recorded a cover of 'Push' by Matchbox Twenty, to which he plays on the guitar alongside other Kens in the movie.
