Cardi B Could Be Facing Battery Charges

After throwing a microphone at a concertgoer who hurled a drink at her, Cardi B could now be looking at battery charges.

Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department confirmed an individual reported a battery after "she was struck by an item that was thrown from the stage" during a concert "located in the 3500 block of Las Vegas Boulevard" the day before.

It was reported the woman who reported the altercation was standing next to the woman who threw the drink, claiming she was hit by the microphone too.

On the day of the incident, Cardi was wearing an orange dress, performing and looking surprised as a drink was thrown in her direction.

As a response, she threw her microphone at the attendee, who was escorted away by security.

Following the incident, a different video angle was retweeted of the throw, showing a clearer view of the fan attempting to empty their cup at Cardi, who continued her performance afterwards.

Another clip shows Cardi and her DJ asking the audience to "splash her down" just not on her face. "Give me some water. Splash me down. That s--- feel good. Put that s--- in my p----y, bitch. Come on."

It's unclear whether this direction was given before or after the incident.

At a beach club the night before, Cardi also reportedly threw her mic towards a DJ who was apparently cutting off her songs early during a performance.

"I don't wanna look that ghetto, bitch. I said splash my p----y, not my face, bitch."

This is just one incident of many where musicians have been hit by objects during performances.

Bebe Rexha was hit by a cell phone in the face, to which the fan was later arrested. Since, there have been videos of Harry Styles, Kelsea Ballerini, Lil Nas X, Drake, P!nk, and more being hit by items.
