'The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon' Gets A Release Date

With 'Dead City' about to wrap up the first season, two more 'Walking Dead' spin-offs are set to come through, with one finally receiving a release date.

'The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon' is about Daryl Dixon, and has been announced to be released on September 10th.

It was completed prior to the Writers and Actors Strikes, therefore is one of those "in the bank" series set to go on without delays.

The next one is Rick and Michonne's spin-off, yet to gain a title. It's unclear whether the strikes could have an affect on the series. It is expected to air next year if not, however Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira and Andrew Lincoln cannot promote until the SAG strike is resolved.

There are also rumours, that despite not headlining, Melissa McBride's Carol may appear at some point, and it could be a series with multiple seasons.

The premise of the story so far is that Daryl is trying to figure out why he's in France and is trying to get back.
