Taylor Swift Charts 12th No. 1 Album
Taylor Swift has claimed the top spot on the Billboard 200 albums chart with the release of 'Speak Now (Taylor's Version).'
It debuted in first place with a massive starting sum, solidifying her reign as one of the most successful artists of our time.
This is her 12th, No. 1 album on the charts, with her last album 'Midnights' also opening in first place just under a year ago.
This album has received 716,000 equivalent album units, and an impressive 507,000 come from actual sales.
It has also generated 206,000 streaming equivalent album units, with over 269.33 million streams, and is the third largest streaming week for any album in the US this year.
There were also contributions through individual track purchases, adding another 3,000 track equivalent units in the first week total.
It also performed well on vinyl, with 268,500 copies sold.
These sales have left other artists far behind, not facing any real competition.
The runner-up, Morgan Wallen, moved an additional 104,000 equivalent copies.
Taylor's album also outsold Morgan's by over six and half times over.
