Sofia Vergara & Joe Manganiello Split After 7 Years

Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello have announced their separation after being married for seven years. 

"We have made the difficult decision to divorce. As two people that love and care for one another very much, we politely ask for respect of our privacy at this time as we navigate this new phase of our lives.”

The two wed in November 2015, almost one year after they got engaged, which was only six months after they started dating.

In December last year, Sofia posted a lovely birthday shoutout to Joe on Instagram.

“Feliz cumpleaños mi amor❤️🙏🏼. It’s going to be an amazing 2023 for you.”

Earlier this month, Joe shared a lovely birthday message for Sofia.

“¡¡¡Feliz Cumpleaños Sofía!!!” he said alongside a blurry image of the two.

Commenters quickly began speculating surrounding the choice of image.

“Am I the only one who doesn’t like the way it sounds? ‘Sofia’ … not even ‘My love, My beloved wife."

“Something is off. Cold message for her and has two stories about his dog’s birthday. And sofia has not even said thank you.”

Over the next few days, Sofia shared photos from a holiday in Italy, but Joe wasn't appearing in any of them.

On her actual birthday, she had dinner where the waiters serenaded her while she blew out candles on her cake.

“So lucky to have my best friends in my favorite restaurant in my favorite island!!!”

Days later, more photos appeared from the trip showcasing her enjoying dinner with a friend.

“When life gives u lemons u come to Italy to squeeze them."

Just hours before the split announcement, Sofia posted multiple pics of herself in a blue leopard-print bathing suit, drinking water on a sunny patio.

“Last days of vacay! Even when u r so hot I love u Ravello!!!”

Joe, on the other hand, recently posted about the SAG-AFTRA strike, sharing a photo of a fist raised in solidarity.

Previously, Sofia was married to Joe Gonzalez between 1991 and 1993, sharing son Manolo (31).
