Morgan Wallen Meets With Families Of Idaho Murders Victims

Morgan Wallen has celebrated his 'One Night At A Time World Tour' with several special guests, including the Chapin family, whose son was once of the victims in the Idaho murders case.

Jim and Stacy Chapin's son Ethan was murdered alongside Xana Kernodle, Madison Mogen, and Kaylee Gonclaves.

Jim and Stacy broke silence just before Mother's Day, with Stacy realising each coming milestone will be a new battle to overcome.

Last year, Ethan celebrated his mother, by sending her 'Thought You Should Know' by Morgan Wallen. 

Morgan wrote it for his own mother, including the lyric "All those prayers you thought you wasted on me must’ve finally made their way on through."

Stacy said, "He was like, ’Mom, that’s pretty fitting for you.' It will now always forever be my most favorite song."

"You wish you could be like, ‘Hey, Morgan Wallen, let me tell you how much you’ve touched our life by that.'"

After Morgan saw the heartfelt moment, he invited the family to one of his performances for this tour.

The family have now had the chance to tell him how much he and his music meant to them.

Jim, Stacy and surviving triplets Maizie and Hunter met Morgan before the show, along with Morgan's mother.

"It was amazing… It was literally full circle. His mum was there, and he visited and was kind. His mother was amazing. We all took lots of pictures."

Stacy revealed the song 'Thought You Should Know' brought back memories of Ethan.

"And he made an incredible donation to Ethan’s Smile. It was one of the kindest gestures in my life. I still cannot believe it happened, and it isn't easy to recognize it all came at a massive cost to our family. Morgan, thank you for everything."

Ethan's Smile is a nonprofit created by the Chapins to channel their grief into a positive thing following his death. It also benefits students of the Skagit Valley in Washington, providing scholarships to local student attending the University of Idaho.

They have also continued to share his story through a children's book 'The Boy Who Wore Blue' and an apparel line.

In 2021, Morgan created the Morgan Wallen Foundation ensuring young people have access to sports and music programs.
