Mark Zuckerberg Trains For Pilot's License

CEO of Meta Mark Zuckerberg has learned to surf, taken up jiu-jitsu and is now apparently training for his pilot's license.

He has obtained a student pilot certificate, after successfully applying for it through the Federal Aviation Administration.

Should he ace his test, he would join other high-flying aviators including Sam Altman (OpenAI CEO), Evan Spiegel (Snap CEO) and Elon Musk.

Last week, he posted an image showcasing his bare-chested, muscular physique alongside mixed martial arts fighters Israel Adesanya and Alex Volanovski.

Mark took up martial arts during the pandemic, and has been training in preparation for a potential match against Elon Musk.

The rivalry heated up recently when Mark released his "Twitter killer" app Threads.

Elon acquired Twitter last year for $44 billion, and has accused Mark's company of stealing trade secrets used to develop Threads. Meta denied these claims.

Last year, Mark admitted he enjoys surfing every morning before work as a means of coping with getting "punched."

“When you’re out there in the water, it’s pretty hard to focus on anything else. When you’re on the board, you’re focused on making sure you stay on the board and don’t mess something up.”
