Docuseries In The Works For Gwyneth Paltrow Trial, Brooklyn Beckham Wedding Drama

The legal battles of Gwyneth Paltrow and Brooklyn Beckham have been granted investigative documentaries by Discovery. 

Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland announced they ordered Gwyneth vs Terry: The Ski Crash Trial, and Peltz-Beckham vs The Wedding Planners, for the Discovery+ streaming platform.

“We’re excited about the breadth of this latest slate of commissioned programs, across discovery+ and linear [television], which span our viewers’ most-loved genres from property, reality, and food to true crime and paranormal. We are delighted to offer both new and returning favorites laden with high-profile talent.”

The Gwyneth vs Terry will be highlight the 2023 lawsuit between Gwyneth Paltrow and retired doctor Terry Sanderson. Terry alleged Gwyneth intentionally injured him during a ski collision in 2016, and sued for $300,000 in damages.

Gwyneth denied claims, filing a countersuit for $1. The trial started in March making headlines.

She even laughed off assumptions her $1 amount was copied from her "good friend" Taylor Swift, who was awarded the same amount in 2017 after accusing DJ David Mueller of sexual assault.

“It’s an actual dollar that I’m asking for. It’s symbolic because the damages would actually be more."

She was ultimately found not liable by the jury, gaining her $1.

“I felt that acquiescing to a false claim compromised my integrity. “I am pleased with the outcome and I appreciate all of the hard work of Judge Holmberg and the jury and thank them for their thoughtfulness in handling this case.”

No further details for the series have been revealed.

Peltz-Beckham will follow the wedding drama of Brooklyn Beckham.

Eight months after he married Nicola Peltz, her father filed a lawsuit against two wedding planners, alleging the cofounders refused to refund him $159,000 after the family were asked to hire another coordinator after nine days on the job.

He also claimed the event planners overstated their abilities and expertise.

“[Nelson] has not sued anyone in 15 years but when it comes to his daughter, he will protect her always. He is a loving father who engaged in an alleged agreement with a group that couldn’t live up to the experience they sold him – despite the issues, they were able to pull off a once-in-a-lifetime wedding for his daughter.”

The event planners filed a countersuit of their own claiming the gang made difficult demands on short notice, communicating poorly. Nelson, his wife, and Nicola were all named.
