BTS’s Jung Kook May Debut Single At No. 1 Next Week

Jung Kook, known as a member of BTS, has recently begun his solo career with highly anticipated single 'Seven.'

Since the release just a few days ago, it has been streamed and purchased globally in its various versions, heading towards significant chart success globally.

It seems his first major solo track could achieve historic victory in days.

The Official Charts Company states 'Seven' is climbing to reach No. 1 on the singles chart.

It is reportedly only 2,000 equivalent units behind Dave and Central Cee's 'Sprinter.'

'Sprinter' has dominated the last six weeks, fending off competition from some big stars, however Jung Kook's climb could see history being made in several ways.

So far, only 'Gangnam Style' by Psy has dominated in the UK singles chart over a decade ago. Since then, very few South Korean artists have come close.

'Seven' is already on track to become Jung Kook's most successful solo release to date, previously charting two songs, 'Stay Alive' and 'Left and Right' featuring Charlie Puth. Neither broke into the top 40.
