Rihanna Steps Down From Role As CEO Of Savage X Fenty

Rihanna has announced she is stepping down as CEO of Savage X Fenty and is welcoming a new CEO.

She has been CEO since the company was founded in 2018, and stepped down on June 26th. She has appointed a new CEO, Hillary Super, who was previously CEO of Anthropologie Group.

Rihanna will still remain as executive chair though.

"It's been beautiful to see our vision for Savage X Fenty impact the industry at such an incredible magnitude over the last five years. This is just the beginning for us, and we're going to continue to expand in ways that always connect with the consumer."

"I'm so grateful and excited to welcome Hillary Super as our new CEO—she is a strong leader and is focused on taking the business to an even higher level."

Hillary has also had leading positions at American Eagle, Guess, Old Navy and Gap.

"I'm thrilled to join the Savage X Fenty family. The brand is a major powerhouse in the lingerie and apparel industry, and its unwavering commitment to celebrating inclusivity and fearlessness is inspiring."

This change comes as Rihanna celebrated five years of Savage X Fenty, and bared her pregnancy bump during a photoshoot marking the milestone.

She was dressed in a black bralette and boxers from the label, black heels and a sleek banged hairstyle. She was posing in an office set, with a printer and filing cabinets, and threw paper around while posing.

She captioned the post, "it's giving…call HR!!"

Rihanna also launched Fenty Beauty in 2017 continuing on as CEO. It is worth an estimated $2 billion.
