Mötley Crüe Announce Co-headline Tour With Def Leppard

Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard have announced they will tour together in Australia this November for three stadium gigs.

It will begin at Brisbane's Suncorp Stadium on November 8th, then head to Giants Stadium in Sydney on November 11th, before ending in at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne on November 14th.

General tickets will go on sale on June 8th, along with various pre-sales for members of the fan clubs, Vodafone customers, and Live Nation members.

These dates are part of their 'The World Tour' run, which started in Mexico City in February. Then followed more Latin American dates, a European leg begun last month, and they are set to headline North America in August.

This is the second tour for the two bands together. Last year they co-headlined 'The Stadium Tour,' playing 36 shows in North America, joined by Poison and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts.

Def Leppard frontman Joe Elliott said, “After getting back on the road this past summer, we’re beyond thrilled to bring this massive tour to a global audience including some special dates in Australia."

Mötley Crüe released a statement which read, “We had an incredible time playing The Stadium Tour in North America and we truly can’t wait to continue taking the show around the globe with The WORLD Tour in 2023. Crüeheads get ready because we have a few amazing Australian dates set for you!”

This will be Mötley Crüe’s first visit to Australia in 8 years. They last performed in 2015 as part of their then "final" tour. This will also be the first Aussie tour since the departure of founding guitarist Mick Mars.

Def Leppard were last in Australia in 2018, playing album 'Hysteria' for the celebration of the 30th anniversary.
