General Hospital Star Charged With Felony DUI

Hayley Pullos, known for 'General Hospital' has been charged with two felonies and a misdemeanor after a near-fatal car accident that happened in April.

She was officially charged yesterday, including one felony count of driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage causing injury, one felony count of driving with a .08% blood alcohol content causing injury, and one misdemeanor count of hit and run driving resulting in property damage.

She has pleaded not guilty to all charges, and her preliminary hearing is scheduled for July 27th.

On April 29th, Pullos allegedly drove her car the wrong way on a highway, and collided with another vehicle head-on, travelling at around 60mph.

At the time, it was reported she was involved in a separate hit-and run traffic collision before the crash on the freeway.

“Pasadena Fire units responded to a traffic collision requiring rescue at the 134 Freeway/Orange Grove exit early this morning. Arriving units found two vehicles involved, with one person trapped, after a reported head-on collision. Fire personnel extricated one person from a vehicle and provided patient care and hospital transport for the occupants of both vehicles.”

“Cause is unknown but always a reminder to stay within the speed limit, avoid drinking and driving and never be distracted by passengers, phones, etc.”

Earlier this month, the other driver filed a lawsuit against Pullos, claiming she was seriously injured and taken to hospital in critical condition, and that his car was totaled.

Pullos is known for playing Molly Lansing-Davis on 'General Hospital' since 2009. In May, it was announced she was taking temporary leave of absence following the incident.

“Unfortunately, I was involved in an automobile accident and I’m doing OK, but I am going to need a little time to recover. I will be back as soon as possible!”

Holiday Mia Kriegel replaced her temporarily, with her debut on the May 22nd episode.
