Cameron Boyce Honoured Almost 4 Years After Death

Cameron Boyce has been honoured by his 'Descendants' co-stars, Dove Cameron, Booboo Stewart, and Sofia Carson during the June 1st annual Cam for a Cause event.

They celebrated their friend and co-star almost four years after he passed away due to an epileptic seizure at the age of 20.

All three stars dressed in outfits reminiscent of their roles.

Dove was seen in a teal and white ensemble with greenery, standing alongside Sofia who was wearing a floor-length black gown. Booboo was wearing a sleek grey suit, with a black shirt, black pants, and black moccasins.

Sofia shared a pic of the three captioning, "For you, Cam. Forever."

The series ran from 2015 to 2019, and surrounded the children of Disney villains, Maleficent, Jafar, Evil Queen and Cruella de Vil. Cameron played Carlos, the son of Cruella de Vil.

Adam Sandler, who played Cameron's dad in 'Grown Ups' and 'Grown Ups 2' was also in attendance. He walked the purple carpet, fashioning casual attire and a peace sign.

Cam for a Cause was founded by Cameron's parent through The Cameron Boyce Foundation, which is dedicated to honouring "the legacy of Cameron Boyce by aiming to cure epilepsy through funding research, education and awareness campaigns while still supporting causes that were important to Cameron."

After he passed, his family released a statement that read, "The world is now undoubtedly without one of its brightest lights, but his spirit will live on through the kindness and compassion of all who knew and loved him."
