Actors From Shane Warne Miniseries Left In Hospital After Sex Scene

Marny Kennedy and Alex Williams, starring as Shane Warne and wife Simone Callahan in an upcoming telemovie, have ended up in hospital following a sex scene that went horribly wrong.

Marny admitted the incident happened during an interview, claiming she and Alex sustained injuries.

“It was during a little makeout scene from when they (Shane and Simone) were younger,. We were going down a corridor and we were meant to push into the bedroom and land on the bed, but we both completely missed the bed.

Marny said she suffered a broken wrist, while Alex cracked open the back of his head.

“We ended up sitting in the emergency room together, he with a bandage around his head and me with my wrist strapped."

They visited a hospital reportedly "for the elderly" so the two, dressed in costumes, looked totally out of place.

“It was just Alex and I with our bleached hair, fully still in wardrobe, sitting there surrounded by elderly residents.”

They made a joke of the incident, getting mugs created for the cast and crew, which had a selfie of the two of them waiting in ER.

An air date has yet to be given for the series, however fans have already taken to Twitter to share their distaste for the show, dramatising Warne's phenomenal rise and public falls from grace.

Alex Williams, know for playing Julian Assange in 'Underground: The Julian Assange Story,' will play Shane Warne, Marny Kennedy as his wife, Jacquie Brennan as his mother Brigitte, and Shanti Kali as supermodel Liz Hurley, who Warne had a high-profile relationship with between 2011 and 2013.
