According to one of her in-laws, Queen Elizabeth II has a secret "booze tunnel" that runs underneath Buckingham Palace.

Jack Brooksbank, husband of The Queen's granddaughter Princess Eugenie, revealed that the Royal Family can secretly and discreetly travel to a cocktail bar from the palace, all thanks to hidden underground tunnels.

The royal family member revealed the secret to Richard Eden, Daily Mail's royal editor during a party that was sponsored by his brand Casamigos.

It was claimed that Jack said, "There is one to Dukes bar from St James's Palace. I haven't used it yet, but I'd love to check it out."

Dukes bar is located in an exclusive hotel called Dukes Hotel. It is situated in the central London district Mayfair and is famous for its martinis.

They have been described as "one of the world's best."

The Queen's cousin Margaret Rhodes, has revealed the Queen does in fact enjoy a nice martini every evening.

Dukes would be the obvious choice for her to go, but that passageway is not the palace's only one.

There are 775 rooms in Buckingham Palace. So for the Royal Family to have secret passageways for them to get around, isn't surprising.

During a segment on ITV's Good Morning Britain, presenter Kate Garraway showed viewers a tour of the grand White Drawing Room.

"This is the White Drawing Room. Looks beautiful, doesn't it?"

She spent some time admiring a large mirror in the middle of the room. It was revealed that the mirror actually hides a secret door to enable the Queen to make a surprise appearance.

"If you pull this open you can see that actually behind this there is a secret passage leading to the Queen's private apartments."

Curator of the Royal Collection, Anna Reynolds added, "This is the way to the Queen's apartments."

"Often when the Queen is meeting guests, they're lined up for her here in the Music Room for her to meet."

"It allows her to make an entrance without having to walk through all of the different palace rooms."
