Pistol Annies Have Released A Christmas Album in October

The Pistol Annies, consisting of Miranda Lambert, Angaleena Presley, and Ashley Monroe, have come back together for the release of Hell of a Holiday. The Christmas album the group decided to release in October.

On October 1st, the group posted to Twitter saying, "It's gonna be a Hell of a Holiday y'all! Our first Christmas album will be out Oct 22 (Green heart emoji, Red heart emoji, Christmas tree emoji)."

The album was officially released on October 22nd, but before that Vinyl and CD copies were available for pre-order.

You could also order album-themed merchandise. And a single that was titled "Snow Globe" was premiered on October 1st.

This album is the groups first release since their 2018 Billboard Country Album chart-topper Interstate Gospel. This album featured the hit song "Got My Name Changed Back."

Mayor of Columbia, TN Chaz Molder teased the new material earlier the same week Pistol Annies announced their new album.

He posted to Twitter saying, "Today, I was honored to welcome to @ColumbiaTNUSA @mirandalambert & the @PistolAnnies incl @ashleymonroe &guitarleena."

"Seeing them shoot music video in our town, on the same stage (@The_Mulehouse) where I had pre-school performances as a kid, was a moment I'll never forget."

There has been no clarification whether the music video was for "Snow Glove" or one of the other songs on the album.

Surfer Mikala Jones Dead at 44

Professional surfer Mikala Jones has died following a freak surfing accident at the age of 44. His daughter broke the news.  It was revealed he was surfing along the coast of the Mentawai Islands while staying in Indonesia, when a surfboard fin severed his femoral artery from a 10cm wound inside his left groin. Westminster Abbey flooded with onlookers on May 6th for the coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla.  It has been 70 years since the last crowning ceremony, with 25-year-old Queen Elizabeth II becoming Queen.  Members of the royal family and celebrity friends all came out to join in the celebration.
