Samantha Morton, known mostly for her role as Alpha in The Walking Dead, has landed her next movie role.

The role is in an upcoming project all about disgraced movie producer Harvey Weinstein.

She Said will follow the reporters that uncovered the sexual abuse that Weinstein committed.

Carey Mulligan and Zoe Kazan will be portraying Megan Twohey and Jodi Kantor, the two journalists that created the groundbreaking piece that exposed Weinstein, launched the legal case against him, and helped bring the #MeToo movement to the spotlight.

Samantha will be portraying Zelda Perkins, a former assistant of Weinstein and one of his victims. Sadly, she was a victim who couldn't talk about the issue due to signing non-disclosure agreements.

The film will be an adaptation of the book She Said: Breaking the Sexual Harassment Story That Helped Ignite a Movement. It was written by the journalists involved, with the help of Maria Schrader, known for Unorthodox.

Rebecca Lenkiewicz will be headlining the film behind the scenes.

Last year, Weinstein gained a sentence of 23 years in prison for rape and sexual assault. His sentences were 20 years for a first-degree criminal act and three years for third-degree rape.

He was also exonerated for three other charges, two counts of predatory sexual assault and one count of rape in the first degree. He denied all charges placed against him.
