Jake Gyllenhal has recently trolled a Spider-Man: Far From Home cosplayer while in Venice.

After seeing a nearby cosplayer dressed up as his Spider-Man character Mysterio/Quentin Beck while on holiday, Jake decided to take a picture and post it to Instagram.

He shared an image of himself from a gondola on a canal, and a screenshot of the fan's costume saying, "Ran into an old friend in Venezia."

Josh Gad commented on the post jokingly saying, "Take. Him. Out."

Deadpool creator and comic book writer Rob Liefeld said, "You can totally take that guy!"

Jake Gyllenhaal starred alongside Zendaya and Tom Holland in Spider-Man: Far From Home. He ended the film as Mysterio, unveiling Peter Parker's identity to the public after being defeated.

The next edition in the series, No Way Home, is set to pick up where the last film ended. The first trailer for the third film was released earlier this month.

Obviously, the unveiling of Peter Parker affects the lives of those closest to him. He teams up with Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) in order to fix the damage. Doctor Strange agrees but a mishap causes something worse to happen.

The film is being directed by Jon Watts and is scheduled to be released on December 17th in U.K cinemas. It is set to be released on December 26th in Australia and December 17th in the U.S.
