Dwayne Johnson Has A New Deputy Doppelgänger in Alabama

A sergeant in the Morgan County Sheriff's Office in Alabama is gaining plenty of attention for he was mistaken for Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The viral TikTok started the confusion and attention. The sheriff's office even noticed and acknowledged the popularity.

Deputies revealed a Walmart worker wanted to meet the famous star, and that the officer had no problem stopping by to say hello.

"This gentleman recently ran into Sgt. Mason and informed him he wanted to meet our deputy that people say looks like 'The Rock.' Sgt. Mason passed that along and Lieutenant Fields was happy to swing by the Hartselle Walmart to see him."

The post received over 2,100 likes and hundreds of comments.

Some people are calling him Dwayne "The Cop" Johnson and are also comparing him to Vin Diesel.

Fields has been working for the sheriff's office for 17 years. He says the attention he receives for being Dwayne's doppelgänger has been "a running joke" for several years.

"I go along with it. It's humourous. It's flattering. It could be worse people, I guess."

Dwayne Johnson retweeted a side-by-side image of himself and Lieutenant Fields saying, "Oh wow! Guy on the left is way cooler. Stay safe brother and thank you for your service."

He went on to say, "And I need to hear all your "Rock stories" because I KNOW you got 'em."

The Morgan County Sheriff's Office has even invited Dwayne to spend some time on patrol with them.
