Even famous families have fights!

Sean Penn and daughter Dylan have recently appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. Stephen proceeded to ask if they ever disagreed while working together on their new film which was directed by Sean, and starred Dylan.

"We had one major...I think it was a two-hour standoff about a note that he had. It was about whether I could wear mascara or not wear mascara," Dylan explained.

"He won. That is a fight a father usually has with a daughter when she's 12."

Stephen continued to ask, "Did you guys go someplace private to have this fight, or was it a knockdown, drag-out in front of the crew?"

"No, it was very public," said Dylan.

"Once it was clear that she was making the wrong decision, I just went and sat down, and then the silence was one the crew had to live with for two hours while the Penns figured it out," added Sean.

"Did you roll on that? Because I would watch that movie," joked Stephen.

Dylan has also explained that despite having famous parents, her first job was delivering pizzas.

"I was modeling - model by day, pizza delivery at night. So I would show up to the door with full hair and makeup, with my pizza hat with the shirt with the pizza. They're like, 'Guys, I think the stripper is here.'"

Dylan stars in the new film Flag Day, which was directed by Sean. The film came out this year.
