Queen Letizia, wife of King Felipe, recently presented Dame Judi Dench with the Masters of Cinema Award during the closing ceremony of the Atlàntida Mallorca Film Festival in Palma de Mallorca.

Even with their face masks, it was clear their smiles were vibrating through and shining upon everyone.

Queen Letizia sported a sleeveless navy dress with gold heels and hoop earrings. Dame Judi Dench, who has previously won many awards including an Academy Award, a Tony, and four BAFTA Awards, was seen sporting cream combination to accept the latest edition to her collection.

Dame Judi Dench has not only played royalty during her career, but she has also been appointed a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire and met Queen Elizabeth II among other British royal family members.

In Mrs. Brown (1997), Judi played Queen Victoria. She then played the same monarch again in Victoria and Abdul (2017). She has also won an Oscar for playing the Queen's great-great-grandmother and namesake Elizabeth I in Shakespeare in Love. She only appeared on screen for eight minutes.

Sir Ian McKellen also outed Dam Judi Dench and himself when he revealed on The Graham Norton Show that he and Judi sat on the Queen's throne during a dinner party at Buckingham Palace. The naughty rascals!

"We had a little twirl around the room, nobody else there, and I said, 'I think this is the throne room.'"

When the two realised the Queen's throne wasn't in sight, they decided to go exploring.

"We went on dancing around the corner, and we found ourselves behind the band, and there behind this sort of partition was the thrones... so we sat on them."

"It brings out the worst in you, Buckingham Palace," he joked.

Ian McKellen received knighthood in 1991 and Dame Judi Dench received Dame Commander in 1988.
