A Hollywood Movie Is Being Made About Shane Warne's Life

Shane Warne has revealed the plans for a Hollywood movie based on his life.

Back in 2019, Warne flew to Los Angeles in order to discuss a potential film about his 2008 Indian Premier League triumph with the Rajasthan Royals.

"A guy has written a script about it, this company wants to shoot it, so it's basically a Hollywood movie shot for India. And they're basing it on my story of how we put together the Royals in 2008 and they've 'Hollywood-ised' it. It's all sorts of sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll stuff."

While filming the latest commercial to promote Advanced Hair Studio, Warne has stated that "it has been put on hold" due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I think hopefully by the end of the year or early next year we'll pick it up again and see what's going on."

He went on to joke about who he'd like to see play him on the big screen. "You might as well pick out some of the best people, right? We're talking DiCaprio, Hemsworth, Brad Pitt."

Although this project has been placed on hold, another has been made about Shane's life and should be released soon.

"I can't say too much. Let's just say there's a documentary coming out soon about my life."

There have been no indications as to which streaming service this will be released on.
