Zac Efron Wins First Emmy

Zac is very ecstatic and it's completely understandable because he just won his very first Emmy!

The winners of the 2021 Daytime Emmy Awards announced the winners recently for the lifestyle and fiction fields.

Zac was successful and won the Outstanding Daytime Program Host award. 

This is Zac's first-ever Emmy win, collecting it for his work on Down to Earth With Zac Efron. This is also his first-ever nomination.

After his win, Zac posted his gratitude on Instagram, thanking those who have watched his series and helped him in achieving the award.

"Wow! Never expected this and so grateful. A HUGE thank you to @DaytimeEmmys @netflix and our small but powerful crew, #downtoearth who made this show what it is."

"Most of all, thank all of you for watching and enjoying D2E. This is for you," he wrote alongside a red heart emoji.

This series follows Zac and wellness expert Darin Olien as they travel to various areas in order to experience local cuisines and customs, spiritual experiences, and sustainable, unique living practices.

Season 2 is set to premiere in 2022.
