The Kid Laroi and Justin Bieber's New Song Slays In Australia

Australian teen hip-hop star The Kid Laroi has reached a huge milestone in his home country with his latest single 'Stay.'

A collaboration with Justin Bieber, the single debuted at Number #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart, surpassing Ed Sheeran's 'Bad Habits' and Olivia Rodrigo's 'Good 4 U.'

In May, he reached the national charts with his song 'Without You' and has reached Number #1 on the ARIA Albums Chart with his mixtape F*ck Love.

This makes The Kid Laroi the youngest solo Aussie artist to do this.

For Justin, this is his fifth leader, following 'What Do You Mean?' (2015), 'Love Yourself' (2015), 'I Don't Care,' collaboration with Ed Sheeran (2019), and 'Peaches' (2021).

'Stay' will be a feature on The Kid Laroi's F*ck Love 3 EP which he dropped today.

In other news, BTS has gained their fourth Top 10 Singles in Australia, with 'Permission to Dance' reaching Number #6, Billie Eilish has gained another Top 20 with 'NDA' reaching Number #16. Post Malone has gained his first new chart entry in two years, with 'Motley Crew' coming in at Number #22.

Olivia Rodrigo's Sour has gone a seventh non-consecutive week at Number #1, and the Cosmic Psychos have taken their second career Top 50 entry, with Moutain of Piss coming in at Number #19.

Lastly, Brisbane's alternative rock trio DZ Deathrays had the highest debut last week with Positive Rising: Part 2 starting at Number #4. It became the week's best selling vinyl and the second Top 10 appearance on the ARIA Albums Chart for the trio, following Bloody Lovely (2018), peaking at Number #4.
