A photo taken by Kate Middleton, earlier this month for Prince George's eighth birthday, it is clear he is not so little anymore.

This birthday signifies a huge change as it is the same age both Prince William and Prince Charles started boarding school.

As of the moment, Prince George attends school at Thomas's Battersea Prep School in London, but we could see the little man heading off to follow in his father's and grandfather's footsteps.

Soon enough, we could see Prince George heading to Ludgrove in Berkshire.

"A source of the family has said, "William and Kate have recently visited schools in the Berkshire area, which has got a lot of people talking."

This follows reports of the family looking at properties within the area.

They are supposedly considering a "more flexible" boarding plan for the little Prince. This way he can spend time both at school and with his family.

Royal Commentator Carmen Sandi has stated that Prince George and his brother Prince Louis will both follow in their father's footsteps and spend some time in the British military.

"Prince William joined the Army, Prince Charles joined the Navy and Prince Harry served in the Air Force. If you're sensing a theme, you'd be absolutely right. Men in the royal family aren't just encouraged to join the military, it's expected of them. They may not have to worry about that now, with George and Louis still being as young as they are but, eventually, this is something they will have to consider doing as they get older," Carmen said.

We wish Prince George all the luck at boarding school.
