Judith, who is now 73, has been an activist for many years. She has championed the rights of the disabled community since she was a young girl. She first started using a wheelchair after she contracted polio at 5-years-old.

At that time, she was also deemed a fire hazard and told to stay home.

The upcoming memoir should depict Heumann's attempts to plan the 504 Sit-In in San Francisco. This protest led to standardising rights for the disabled.

Ali being successful with landing this role, follows her Tony win and the success of Christmas Ever After (2020).

Even though Ali's disability has to be used a plot device for the upcoming memoir, unlike the frestive romance, it will still be an amazing step-forward for the star, and portray an important story the world needs to see.

Congratulations to Ali and we can't wait to see her outstanding performance.
